Abstract:

A delivery system includes a sheath and a handle. The handle includes: a slide shaft having a threaded outer surface; and a hub assembly coupled to the sheath. The hub assembly includes: an inner slider having a thread tooth pivot support; a thread tooth pivotably mounted to the thread tooth pivot support; and a sleeve having a thread tooth press member pressing on the thread tooth, where motion of the sleeve relative to the inner slider pivots the thread tooth on the thread tooth pivot support to engage and disengage the hub assembly with the threaded outer surface.

Abstract:

A method of deploying a prosthesis includes engaging a hub assembly of a handle to a threaded outer surface of a slide shaft of the handle; rotating the hub assembly to cause axial translation of the hub assembly and a sheath coupled to the hub assembly to initiate deployment of the prosthesis; disengaging the hub assembly from the threaded outer surface by pivoting a thread tooth of the hub assembly out of threaded engagement with the threaded outer surface; and sliding the hub assembly on the slide shaft to further retract the sheath and complete deployment of the prosthesis.

Chain elongation indicator and method for use with a chain having a first link reference point on a first link and a second link reference point on a second link. The indicator includes an indicator body having first and second indicator reference points, such that the distance between said first and second indicator reference points corresponds to a predetermined percentage distance between first and second link reference points of a non-elongated chain. Abstract:

A stationary target anode of an X-ray device is provided, having stepped high Z button configuration. By minimizing the diameter of the central, X-ray producing section of the button, and incorporating a thin lip extending therefrom to a diameter approximately twice that of the central portion, internal and interface stresses are minimized. A flexible structure is also provided to support the button/substrate assembly and provide minimal resistance as the substrate radially expands during heating, thereby minimizing induced stress on the target and preventing fatigue and failure of the support target.

Abstract:

A wafer level centrifuge (WLC) system and method of testing MEMS devices using the system. The wafer level centrifuge (WLC) system can include a base centrifuge system and a cassette mounting hub coupled to the base centrifuge system. The method can include applying a smooth and continuous acceleration profile to two or more MEMS wafers via the base centrifuge system. Each of the two or more MEMS wafers can have one or more MEMS devices formed thereon. The two or more MEMS wafers can be provided in two or more wafer holding cassettes configured on the cassette mounting hub. The method can also include identifying one or more target MEMS wafers, which can include identifying stiction in one or more MEMS devices on the one or more MEMS wafers.
