Abstract:

One embodiment of the present invention is a screwdriver shank having a non-slip tip disposed at an end of the shank wherein: (a) a distal end of the tip is adapted to fit into a slot having a predetermined width; and (b) an edge of the tip, along the distal end, comprises two or more straight line segments wherein two of the line segments are disposed at non-zero angles with respect to each other.

Abstract:

One embodiment of the present invention is a fret adapted for insertion into a fingerboard of an instrument, the fret comprising: (a) a stem adapted to engage the fingerboard when inserted therein, the stem having one or more studs; and (b) a cap having a base joined to one end of the stem; wherein one or more of the studs comprises a wedge having a sloped side whose area has a quadrilateral shape.
