Abstract:

A retention system for an aircraft seat dress cover defines a cable channel sewn around the periphery of a back portion. A cable in the cable channel is tightened to tighten the aircraft seat dress cover around an aircraft seat back. Adjustable buckles at terminals of the cable interlock and allow the cable to be tightened. A midpoint strap is disposed on opposing sides of the periphery to allow the aircraft seat dress cover to more fully conform to the structure of the aircraft seat.

Abstract:

An aircraft passenger seat grouping including a first passenger seat, a second passenger seat positioned to one side of the first passenger seat, an armrest positioned between the first and second passenger seats, a shell member positioned between the first and second passenger seats, the shell member extending between the first and second passenger seats in a forward direction above the armrest, and a privacy headrest extension movably attached to the privacy shell, the privacy headrest extension movable between a stowed position substantially within the privacy shell and a deployed position forward of the shell member wherein at least a portion of the privacy headrest extension is outside of the privacy shell and above the armrest. The shell member provides privacy between the seats and the privacy headrest extension deploys to increase privacy between the seats.

Abstract:

In an illustrative embodiment, a privacy headrest assembly is configured to provide privacy to a passenger in an aircraft passenger seat, including a headrest mount portion having at least one attachment assembly configured to secure the privacy headrest assembly to at least one of a headrest and a seat frame of the passenger seat, and a privacy extension portion including a privacy shield slideably connected to at least one shell member, where the privacy shield is configured to deploy in a forward direction from a stowed position to an operational position, where, in the stowed position, the privacy shield is substantially enclosed within the at least one shell member, and, in the operational position, the privacy shield is disposed between a head of a passenger of the passenger seat and a head of another passenger in an adjacent passenger seat.
