"Someone that had means to keep her out of the spotlight -- she wasn't homeless. She would have turned up on law enforcement's radar if she was homeless or wound up in a shelter someplace," said David Ruoff, former New Hampshire assistant attorney general.
"It's very, very traumatic," defense attorney David Ruoff said afterward. "She's been anxious about this. Regardless of what happened in Rwanda in 1994, it's traumatic for any person to face their kids under these circumstances."
"She's going to get sent back to Rwanda now, and they'll kill her," defense attorney David Ruoff said after the verdict. "(U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement) will send her back in a heartbeat."
