Abstract:

A DRAM command scheduling algorithm is presented that is designed to alleviate various constraints imposed upon high performance, high datarate, short channel DDRx SDRAM memory systems. The algorithm amortizes the overhead costs of rank-switching time and schedules around the tbank activation constraint. A multi-rank DDRx memory system is also presented having at least two ranks of memory each having a number of banks and at least one memory controller configured for performing the hardware-implemented step of DRAM command scheduling for row access commands and column access commands. The step of command scheduling includes decoupling the row access commands from the column access commands; alternatively scheduling the decoupled row access commands to different ranks of memory; and group scheduling the decoupled column access commands to each bank of the number of banks of a given rank of the different ranks of memory.

Abstract:

Methods are provided for utilizing a modular server architecture for processing requests for services, such as authorization and authentication, in a web server. The modular server architecture includes self-contained modular components that can be plugged in and out of the web server, as needed, to provide requested web services. The modular server architecture is also extensible in that it provides set of server APIs for processing requests for supporting built-in server functionality as well as functionality provided by third party modular components. The modular server architecture also supports the integration of request processing tasks for both native and managed modular components, such as ASP. NET modules, by virtue of a managed module host component. The modular server architecture also optimizes server performance by only providing modular component functionality when needed.

Methods for making surgical implants (or grafts) for the repair of bone defects, and more particularly, surgical implants that include demineralized bone fibers, are disclosed. Also disclosed are methods for increasing the wettability and ensuring uniform density of such implants. The surgical implants have a wettability time of less than 5 minutes and a residual moisture content of less than 6% by weight, and they remain cohesive and retain their shape upon complete rehydration.

Abstract:

A server testing apparatus that exposes an operating server to a configured fluid flow rate (e.g., airflow) and temperature. After the server is docked within the server testing apparatus, a software load is applied to the server to mimic actual operation in the target environment. Then, fluid flow is applied into the inlet of the server at a designated flowrate and temperature. By testing the server for both fluid flowrate as well as temperature in a single apparatus at the same time, significant time may be saved. This is due largely to the fact that the server testing takes significant time to ensure that the server can operate long term in the environment in which that server or similar servers may be installed. Furthermore, the testing more accurately represents the operation of the server in the actual environment, thereby leading to better testing for the server.

Non-limiting examples of the present disclosure describe insight-based routing that is used to improve processing of a service request through a help desk service. A request for support (e.g. technical support) can be received through a modality of a help desk service. The request is evaluated, where an evaluation of the request comprises analyzing an issue associated with the request as well as user-specific signal data associated with a customer and generating insights. A support agent is matched to the customer based on an evaluation of the request. The support agent is selected from a pool of support agents based on application of a model that analyzes support agent data in correlation with the generated insights. An interaction between the matched support agent and the customer may be initiated through a modality of the help desk service.
