Abstract:
A fatigue life optimized modular bucket assembly for a work machine and a method of manufacturing thereof are disclosed. The bucket assembly includes a bucket core having a pair of side sections, a continuous wrapper, a supporting element, and a receptacle; and an extension module having a pair of side bars, a guard module, an edge module, and, optionally, a set of extension plates. The method includes prebuilding the bucket core, receiving an order, providing parts for the extension module, and assembling the bucket core and the extension module parts. The bucket assembly may include universal and customizable components without exhibiting reduction to fatigue life commonly associated with weld seams.
A bucket comprises a shell including a curved member that defines a first transverse end, a second transverse end, a top edge and a bottom flat portion, a first flat angled member attached to the first transverse end of the curved member and a second flat angled member attached to a second transverse end of the curved member, a bottom member, and at least one attachment bracket, wherein the bucket assembly defines a bucket center plane and the first and second flat angled members are tapered toward the center plane of the bucket.
Implement System With Nesting Bucket And Implement System Operating Method
An implement system includes a linkage and a bucket coupled with the linkage and movable between a dump position and a racked position. The bucket has a compound back section that forms a profile having a basin shape to assist in distributing material within the back section when the bucket is curled, and nesting the bucket close to the linkage. Related methodology is disclosed.

Abstract:
A mounting member for coupling a rock guard with a top wall of a loader bucket is provided. The mounting member includes a base plate having a first end and a second end distal to the first end. The base plate is configured to couple to the top wall. The base plate includes a diametric portion at the first end and an elongate portion at the second end. The mounting member also includes an extension plate projecting upwards from the base plate. The extension plate is configured to couple the rock guard with the top wall. The extension plate includes a first inclined edge defined at a first angle with respect to the base plate. The first inclined edge is configured to couple with the rock guard. The extension plate also includes a second inclined edge distal to the first inclined edge.

Abstract:
A hinge attachment bracket for use with a work implement is provided. The bracket comprises a substantial I-beam configuration that includes a first flange, a second flange, a web that connects the first flange to the second flang and that defines a boss that defines a pin receiving bore that establishes a radial direction, a radial plane and a longitudinal axis. The first and second flanges may merge toward each other tangentially forming a first extension portion.

Abstract:
A wear assembly for a loader bucket is disclosed. The wear assembly includes a first side plate coupled to the side wall and a second side plate spaced apart from the first side plate, coupled to the side wall. The wear assembly includes a top plate disposed on the first side plate and the second side plate. Further, the top plate has a first end disposed proximal to the side wall and a second end distal from the side wall. The wear assembly includes a shroud member disposed adjacent to the second end of the top plate and coupled to the first side plate. The wear assembly also includes a wear plate disposed adjacent to the first end of the top plate in front of the shroud member. The wear plate is detachably coupled to an upper surface of the top plate.
