Method And System For Intelligent Text Entry On A Numeric Keypad
A method and system for intelligent text entry on a keypad. First, a user selects a key on a keypad. Then, an application predicts which character of those corresponding to that key is intended by the user. The predicted character is then presented to the user for confirmation. If the user confirms the selection, the character is stored. If the user rejects the character, the application presents a new character to the user until a character is finally confirmed. It is only when the predicted character is not the intended character that the user is required to iterate through character choices.
The present invention provides methods and devices for detecting a target nucleic acid molecule. A set of oligonucleotide probes integrated into an electric circuit, where the oligonucleotide probes are positioned such that they can not come into contact with one another, are contacted with a sample. If the sample contains a target nucleic acid molecule, one which has sequences complimentary to both probes, the target nucleic acid molecule can bridge the gap between the probes. The resulting bridge can then carry electrical current between the two probes, indicating the presence of the target nucleic acid molecule.
Customer Feedback Acquisition And Processing System
A customer feedback acquisition and processing system is disclosed. Customer feedback, which may optionally include voice signals, is captured and stored in a database. The database can be searched to develop a subset of records pertaining to an area of interest. A data mining tool can then be used on the subset to identify trend(s) in the customer feedback records. The database tool assigns relevance scores to each word (âconceptâ) in one or more fields of the records in the subset. It then combines the concepts and develops new relevance scores for the combined concepts to identify trend(s) in the customer feedback records.

The present invention provides nano-scale devices, including electronic circuits, using DNA molecules as a support structure. DNA binding proteins are used to mask regions of the DNA as a material, such as a metal is coated onto the DNA. Included in the invention are DNA based transistors, capacitors, inductors and diodes. The present invention also provides methods of making integrated circuits using DNA molecules as a support structure. Methods are also included for making DNA based transistors, capacitors, inductors and diodes.

Fabrication Of A High Resolution Biological Molecule Detection Device
The present invention relates to a method of manufacturing a detection device which involves providing a substrate having a layer of electrically conductive material and a first layer of photosensitive material. Next, the substrate is subjected to a first level photolithography treatment to produce an electrical conductor containing conductive fingers with spaces between them. Finally, biological probes are attached to the conductive fingers under conditions effective to form a gap between the biological probes on the spaced apart conductive fingers, whereby a target molecule, if present in a sample, can bind to a pair of the biological probes on the spaced apart conductive fingers to bridge the gap between the biological probes, allowing detection of the target molecule.
