Abstract:

A method and system for improving the efficiency of a database processing system for evaluating candidate data items representing search listings that are submitted for inclusion into a search engine database. Candidate search listings are automatically assessed for quality, style, and relevance to evaluate risk of unfavorable reception by a user and of potential exposure volume. Search listings which are higher-risk or higher-volume are routed through manual editorial review while lower-risk, lower-volume search listings are routed for immediate inclusion in the search database without manual editorial evaluation. Accordingly, human editorial efforts can be devoted to manual review of high-risk or high-volume search listings while efficiency is simultaneously improved in the processing system as a whole.

Abstract:

A method, system, and computer program product for restoration of a mobile device to its state prior to loss of application software and data stored in standard memory storage. A core agent is deployed into the standard memory storage of the mobile device and a persistent agent is deployed into the persistent memory storage of the mobile device. The persistent agent is an installation version of the core agent. In the event of loss of application software and data stored in standard memory storage, the core agent is re-deployed into the standard memory storage of the mobile device using the deployed persistent agent. The core agent, in conjunction with a host server facilitates the re-deployment of the application software and the data into the standard memory storage of the mobile device. The mobile device is thus restored to its state prior to loss of standard memory.

Abstract:

The present invention is a masterbot architecture in a scalable multi-service virtual assistant platform that can construct a fluid and dynamic dialogue by assembling responses to end user utterances from two kinds of agents, information agents and action agents. A plurality of information agents obtain at least one information value from a parsed user input and/or contextual data. A plurality of action agents perform one or more actions in response to the parsed user input, the contextual data, and/or the information value. A masterbot arbitrates an activation of the plurality of information agents and the plurality of action agents. The masterbot comprises an action agent selector module to select an appropriate action agent; a prerequisite validator module to validate that one or more prerequisite conditions of the selected action agent have been met; and an action invocation module to perform one or more selected actions of the selected action agent.
