Abstract:

A security lock assembly includes a channel blocking frame, deadbolt and a pin-lock assembly. The channel blocking frame defines a central opening along a first axis and a pair of opposing apertures along a second axis orthogonal to the first. The deadbolt also defines an aperture or bore extending therethrough for alignment with the frame's opposing apertures when positioned at least partially within the central opening of the channel blocking frame. The pin lock assembly has an elongated shaft dimensioned to extend through opposing apertures of the lock frame and deadbolt thereby entrapping the deadbolt within the channel blocking frame. Enlarged ends of the pin lock assembly prevent unauthorized removal of the pin-lock, the deadbolt, and thus the installed lock assembly from a detachable assembly (e.g., plow). The security lock assembly when secured within an attachment channel of a plow prevents unauthorized attachment without first removing the security lock assembly.

Abstract:

A method and apparatus related to grouping (or matching) network users and computers associated with multi-user applications is disclosed. Each user is associated with a client computer that is connected to a network. A match maker application resides on one or more server computer(s). The match maker application controls the process of collecting Clients into matched sets, called client groups, based upon a wide range of attributes of the users, their client computers, the server computers, software application titles, application instances and/or data communication links of the network, for example. Each time the match maker application creates a client group, it creates a group data set that represents the client group. Network match making information is presented to users in an understandable manner using icons, other graphical images or collections of icons and/or images, for example, displayed on a display screen. For example, a non-textual element of a graphical image can be varied to communicate group information about a client group to a user.

Abstract:

An address data converter for converting binary row address information and binary column address information corresponding to data character display locations of a CRT display device having a row/column display field to binary absolute address information. The address A of a given character display location in a typical display field including a plurality of rows each having 80 character display locations can be represented by A=C. sub. A +80R. sub. A, where C. sub. A is the column address of the display location and R. sub. A is the row address. Since the number 80 in the above expression cannot be represented by an integral power of two, it is ordinarily necessary to provide more than 80, for example, 128, character storage locations in memory for each display row of the CRT display device. In accordance with the present invention it has been recognized that the above expression can also be represented by A=C. sub. A +16R. sub. A +64R. sub. A, in which the number 16 and 64 can be represented by integral powers of two.
