A sign system according to the invention includes an upper rail and a lower rail interconnecting two vertical uprights. The upper rail and the lower rail comprise confrontingly opposed longitudinal channels, each channel has a center section and two side sections on either side of the center section. A core plate having upper and lower edges is held between the upper rail and lower rail in the center section of the channels. The upper and lower edges are held in the center section of the channels by stops. Sign panels including the information to be displayed by the sign system are insertable into the side sections of the channels on one or both sides of the core plate.
A single or double post sign structure that is configured to accommodate the attachment of panels to one or both sides of a vertical upright. The sign panel is provided with keyed indentations that are located at the top and bottom edges of the panel to permit capture and rigid securement of the sign panel by a pair of retaining buttons that are used to anchor the sign panel to the sign post. Each retaining button is provided with protrusions corresponding to the keyed indentations of the sign panel. As a result, when the protrusion of the retaining button is engaged and seated in the keyed indentation of the sign panel, it becomes locked in place so that there is no room for lateral movement or removal of the panel. As a result, vandals or thieves are prevented from laterally sliding the sign panel to improperly remove it.

Abstract:
A sign system includes an upper rail and a lower rail, or upper and lower rail with one or more intermediate rails each extending between laterally-spaced vertical supports. Each of the upper rail and lower rail have a longitudinal groove running substantially along the longitudinal lengths thereof. The longitudinal grooves of the upper and lower rails are confrontingly opposed and each has a central portion with a length and lateral sides and side portions extending along the lateral sides of the central portion such that inner sides of the side portions face the lateral sides of the central portion and external sides of the side portions face away from the lateral sides of the central portion. A face plate is releaseably connected to one of the upper and lower rails. The face plate defines an outer side of one of said side portions of said longitudinal groove of said one of said upper and lower rails when said removable face is connected to said one of said upper and lower rail. Lateral access to the one of the side portions normal to said planar core piece is provided when said removable face is disconnected from the one of the upper and lower rails.

Abstract:
A target for implosion by ion beams composed of a spherical shell of frozen DT surrounded by a low-density, low-Z pusher shell seeded with high-Z material, and a high-density tamper shell. The target has various applications in the inertial confinement technology. For certain applications, if desired, a low-density absorber shell may be positioned intermediate the pusher and tamper shells.
A resilient covering houses an air filled coiled flexible stuffing material maintaining the shape of the covering in the form of a stuffed toy. Applying a force to the stuffed toy distorts the shape of the stuffing material changing the air content to change the shape of the stuffed toy. Releasing the force permits the stuffing material to resume its original shape and air content, restoring the shape of the stuffed toy. An elongated insert, normally coiled and straightenable by snapping the ends, is inserted in one embodiment for a roll-up stuffed toy which can be snapped into a rigid straight configuration. Another embodiment with an elasticized covering enables the stuffed toy to be stretched. Mating hook and loop fasteners at the extremities enable the stuffed toy to be stretched around objects and secured in place.
