I moved to Florida 25 years ago, from the upper peninsula of Michigan where I grew up on a large dairy farm. I have milked more than one cow in my lifetime and admit that I could still call a few cows across a 40 acre field if the need arose. My career has always been in the service industry, helping others. My first HECM, Reverse Mortgage was done for a Tampa, Florida couple trying to exist on a limited income, of which 60% monthly was going to an existing mortgage. When I saw how the federally insured FHA Reverse Mortgage program changed their lives and eased their financial burdens, I realized the value of the program and became determined to bring awareness to as many seniors as possible. For that reason, I am passionate about speaking to groups and organizations and welcome invitations for public speaking. When I am not working, I love to spend time with my family, including 7 grandchildren and an adorable Jack Russell, who is addicted to frisbees, tennis balls and has endless energy for both. My memberships include a church choir, Better Living for Seniors Consortium (BLS), Sunshine City Kiwanis and Toastmasters International through Real Talkers Toastmasters of Clearwater. I have competed in numerous speech contests and won first place in an area Humorous Speech Contest with Toastmasters. I am available for speaking engagements throughout Central Florida and the West Coast, including St. Petersburg, Clearwater, Largo, Tampa, Pinellas Park, Bradenton, Sarasota, Palm Harbor, Oldsmar, Brandon and surrounding areas.
