The present invention provides a water-based coating system that can be used to form durable, abrasion resistant, corrosion resistant, protective barriers on a wide range of substrates. The coating system is particularly effective for protecting metal-containing substrates, such as intermodal cargo containers, against corrosion. As an overview, the present invention provides water-based primer compositions suitable to form primer coats and topcoats on substrates. Desirably, the primer incorporates one or more chlorinated resins for excellent corrosion protection. These polymers not only provide excellent corrosion protection and but also show excellent adhesion to a wide range of substrate materials. The system also includes topcoat compositions enhance compatibility and adhesion to the primer and to provide enhanced application.

Abstract:
A selective, non-manual power controller provides the selective, non-manual power control of various components of a data processing equipment from and reports the power status of such components to a central location. As opposed to pass power controllers which were limited to powering on or off all of the computer equipment controlled by a given controlling element, this invention provides a non-manual capability for remotely powering on or off any one or more components of a system or systems in a selective manner and providing the power status thereof. By being able to selectively activate or deactivate any or all of the components of a data processing system, the ability to conserve electrical energy is optimized. In many cases, a single component or a set of components are not used for extended periods of time, such as an entire production period or at least a large portion of a production period. For example, a peripheral subsystem or a particular peripheral device may be used solely for a certain type of job which is active for only a portion of a production period.

Abstract:
A lubrication system includes a primary lubrication system for a gearbox of the aircraft, the primary lubrication system comprising a first lubricant tank, and an emergency lubrication system for the gearbox. The emergency lubrication system includes a second lubricant tank coupled to a gearbox of an aircraft, a passive thermostat coupled between the second lubricant tank and the gearbox via a lubricant line, a conductor coupled between the passive thermostat and the gearbox and configured to conduct heat from the gearbox to the passive thermostat, and wherein the passive thermostat is configured to open in response to the conductor being exposed to a temperature that exceeds a threshold temperature.

Abstract:
The present invention provides a water-based coating system that can be used to form a durable, abrasion resistant, tough, protective coating on a wide range of substrates, including the underbody of transport vehicles, storage units, and the like. The coating composition includes an asphaltic component and advantageously has excellent adhesion properties when coated onto metal surfaces, including the underbody of transport vehicles, storage units and the like. The coating system is particularly effective for protecting metal or metal-containing substrates forming the underbody of an intermodal cargo container. The resultant coatings are flexible and impact resistant.
