Abstract:
A base for a lantern. The base provides a stable platform for supporting the lantern and prevents tipping of the lantern. The base may be used with fuel burning lanterns or lanterns that utilize batteries or other power sources. The base includes foldable feet. The feet fold out of a plane of the base for storage, for example, downward from the plane. The base is turned over and the feet, when folded (upward when the base is upside down), extend upward around a portion of the lantern during storage. This configuration provides convenient, compact storage of the lantern and base, so that the base may be stored with the lantern and may protect the lantern in storage.

Abstract:
An inflatable water toy that includes a base and a plurality of legs and that is shaped like a spider. In a first, upright position, the legs extend upward and outward so that the ends of the legs touch the water. The base for the inflatable water toy is positioned against the water, and one or more people may float on top of the base. In a second position, the inflatable water toy is turned upside down, and the tips of the legs extend upwards. Each of the legs thus forms a saddle in which a user may sit, and the base extends like a table top between the saddles provided by the legs.

Abstract:
An airbed () having an integral clock () or audio player (). The clock () may be mounted, for example, on a faceplate () that is mounted on a sidewall () of the airbed. In an embodiment, the clock () is formed integrally with an air pump () that is built-in to the bed. The air pump () and the clock () share a common faceplate (), and the pump is mounted behind the faceplate. Controls () for the pump () and the clock () are included on the front of the faceplate (). In an embodiment, the clock () is a projection clock. That is, an image () of the time or other information provided by the clock () is projected outward from the clock, for example onto a wall or on a ceiling. In this manner, a user may view the time or other information while lying on the airbed (), for example.
