In a data communication network, a system for protecting parts of the network. The system comprises a plurality of user nodes linked together within the network. Each user node comprises means for transmitting list indicating to other nodes in the network the identification of allowed senders and receivers; and two or more security nodes within the network; each security node detects transmission and relays each signal only to the recipients specified in the list.

Abstract:
A method and apparatus in a computer system selectively stores CPU state related information in parallel in a first and a second set of registers. The two sets of registers can selectively transfer data in parallel therebetween to restore the CPU state related information used by the CPU. The second set of registers cm be organized in a cascaded structure or in selective banks of registers to keep track of multiple CPU state related information such as during nested interrupts. The second set of registers can tansfer data with a third data storage device asynchronously to the operation of the CPU.
Apparatus And Method For Ordered Transmission On Networks
In a communication network comprising at least one communication medium and a plurality of nodes, each node having a unique identifier associated therewith that is transmitted as part of each message transmitted by said node, a method for transmitting signals includes the following steps performed at a first node: (a) determining that a message is to be sent; (b) determining whether the communication medium is available for transmission of the message; (c) determining whether at least a second node is also attempting to transmit during a time period; (d) if at least a second node is also attempting to transmit during the time period, comparing the unique identifier of the first node with the unique identifier for the second node; (e) determining a transmission priority order based on said comparison; and (f) waiting for the second node to finish transmitting in the case that the second node has a higher priority than the first node.
Surfaces containing conversion elements may be positioned and shaped to concentrate or manipulate convergence of sunlight, for example, to produce a steady reflected beam within a wide range of concentration levels and to direct reflected beams for multiple reflections from solar power conversion mediums. The mediums can be positioned to avoid blocking reflected or other light so that unconverted energy may be directed to other surfaces and has several chances to be absorbed or converted. All of the devices may fit within the total converting surface area, e.g., within a concentrator's surface area. The method of solar power conversion may employ active and passive methods simultaneously and/or sequentially.
