Abstract:

An electrical circuit protective arrangement in which a reed spring relay has provided a back contact probe element associated with one of the springs and makes contact therewith when the normally closed springs are open and presents a gap with the associated spring when the springs are closed. The springs are serially connected in the electrical circuit and are of a magnetically responsive material so that the springs are forced open when an undesirably high current is present in the circuit which in turn completes a detection and alarm circuit when the probe element makes contact with the spring. The relay envelope contains a gas which ionizes in the gap to complete the same detection and alarm circuit when a dangerously high voltage appears across the gap although the springs remain closed.

Abstract:

An electrical reel spring relay construction in which the winding bobbin serves as the enclosing envelope. The bobbin has a longitudinal cavity therein, the cavity opening at each end of the bobbin in a tapered, wedge-shaped socket. Each spring member of the reed spring member pair has fitted thereabout near its terminal end a wedge-shaped sleeve dimensioned and formed to fit precisely in one of the cavity sockets. As so fitted, the spring members are positioned within the cavity so that their contact ends overlap. A contact gap spacing is determined by slightly oppositely angling the axes of the sockets from the longitudinal axis of the bobbin.

Abstract:

Systems and methods for inspecting data generated during a scan of an object. One system includes a processor. The processor is configured to receive projection data generated by a CT scan of an object, generate a three-dimensional, volumetric data set based on the projection data, and automatically generate a plurality of cinematic frames of a cinematic sequence based on the three-dimensional, volumetric data set. Each of the plurality of cinematic frames has a different value for at least one parameter. The processor is also configured to automatically generate a signal to display the cinematic sequence in a frame-by-frame manner. In some embodiments, the processor continuously displays the cinematic sequence until a user accepts the three-dimensional, volumetric data set or stops the cinematic sequence (e.g., to perform a manual inspection of the three-dimensional, volumetric data set and/or re-initiate a scan of the object).

Abstract:

Systems and methods for generating an image. One system includes a processor. The processor is configured to receive a requested object field-of-view and determine if the object field-of-view is possible based on constraints of an imaging system, wherein the constraints include dimensions of a detector panel and motion limits of a collimator assembly. If the object field-of-view is possible, the processor is configured to dynamically generate a set of collimator motor commands and reconstruction parameters based on the object field-of-view, calibration parameters of the collimator assembly, and geometric calibration parameters of the imaging system. The processor is also configured to provide the set of collimator motor commands to the collimator assembly to position shutters of the collimator assembly to illuminate the object field-of-view.

Abstract:

Methods and systems for generating images. One system includes a processor. The processor is configured to receive image generation settings, receive projection data generated by a CT scan of an object, and automatically generate a first three-dimensional data set based on the projection data, wherein the first three-dimensional data set has a first field-of-view of the object. The processor is also configured to automatically generate a second three-dimensional data set based on the projection data and the image generation settings. The second three-dimensional data set has a second field-of-view of the object smaller than the first field-of-view in at least one dimension. In one embodiment, the second three-dimensional data set is transmitted to a service provider over at least one network.
