With a rich background in customer service, finance, property management, and commercial real estate, entering the residential realm in 2005 was a natural progression for Elisabeth Geltz. Elisabeth’s focus is always on meeting the needs of her clients, whether she is working with a residential homebuyer or a business looking for a new location. She has ample experience with both buyers and sellers, and her clients run the gamut from those who are purchasing their first home to buyers who have gone through the process numerous times. Originally from the East Coast, Elisabeth moved to the North Shore in 2000 and immediately fell in love with the location. She has completed transactions throughout the area, from Lake Forest and Lake Bluff to Mundelein and Libertyville, Arlington Heights to Deerfield, and over to Highland Park and Highwood. Elisabeth currently resides in Fort Sheridan with her husband, and is extremely well-versed in that specific area. To become an expert on the North Shore, Elisabeth enjoys researching neighborhoods, and has also learned the ropes by simply driving everywhere her clients want to see. Elisabeth’s strong business background gives her a leg up in terms of getting deals closed, and she approaches a transaction by balancing her clients’ needs with the potential investment opportunity. In the North Shore, a home is often a person’s largest asset, and Elisabeth recognizes the importance of this notion both financially and emotionally. Due to a diverse background and a strong attention to detail, Elisabeth is able to serve her clients in a variety of ways. A dedicated professional, Elisabeth genuinely enjoys keeping her clients informed and actively participates throughout the process of buying or selling a home. She has a sincere desire to help them find the right place to meet their needs or market their property successfully to maximize their investment. A strong negotiator, Elisabeth is focused, organized, and entirely client-service oriented. In her free time, Elisabeth serves as the head of the stewardship committee for Faith Lutheran, she is a member of the YWCA Lake County finance committee, and is a board member at Waukegan Power Squadron, a non-profit educational boating organization. Her favorite activity, however, is spending time on her sailboat. My Mission: My goal is to provide the best possible customer service for my clients while meeting their needs financially, and in terms of the property itself. I will walk them through the transaction from the first phone call until whatever it takes to get them to the closing table. These days, it is the financial phase that causes the most challenges, and I am involved in all aspects of the process every step of the way.
