Abstract:

Embodiments of the invention comprise a clamping mechanism for securing a work piece on a power tool having a working surface and a guide fence, the clamping mechanism including a support configured to be movable along the guide fence and a clamp interconnected to the support, the clamp being movable between a securing position and a release position, wherein in the securing position, the clamp engages a work piece, and in the release position, the clamp is disengaged from the work piece.

A power tool includes a table structure including a work surface, a motor assembly including an output drive positioned under the work surface, the motor assembly is adjustable relative to the work surface between a first position that is close to the work surface and a second position that is further from the work surface, a fan member coupled to the motor assembly and configured to generate an airflow, a blade case positioned under the work surface, the blade case including a first sidewall and an opposing second sidewall, and an air guide configured to channel the airflow into the blade case through an opening in the first sidewall, and the air guide further configured to move with the motor assembly between the first position and the second position, wherein the air guide covers the opening in both the first position and the second position.

In at least one embodiment, a table saw includes a table, a moveable carriage supported by the table, a saw assembly supported by the carriage, and a pull rod coupled to the carriage. The pull rod is configured to move in a linear direction relative to the housing between a back position and a forward position. The carriage and saw assembly move in the linear direction when the pull rod is moved in the linear direction. A collar is positioned on the pull rod and configured to move in the linear direction between a locked position and an unlocked position. The pull rod is configured to move in the linear direction from the back position toward the forward position when the collar is in the unlocked position, and the pull rod is blocked from moving from the back position when the collar is in the locked position.

Abstract:

A medical procedure kit includes a first tray. A second tray situates atop the first tray. The second tray includes preformed compartments configured to receive and house a plurality of medical implements. A Foley catheter positioned within a Foley catheter compartment of the plurality of preformed compartments of the second tray. A drainage system stowed within an interior of the first tray. A third tray can be situated atop the second tray. The second tray can include a plurality of catheter retention devices. A planar substrate can be positioned beneath the first tray. A Foley catheter compartment can define a barrier wall extending across a majority of its length. A cutout in the second tray and another cutout in the first tray can be positioned at opposite ends of the kit. These features can be used alone or in combination, and many can even be applied to a single-layer tray.
