Abstract:

In one embodiment, establishment of transactions between a plurality of buyers and a plurality of sellers is supported in a network-based marketplace. As part of an invoice generation process, multiple transactions to which a first user of the network-based marketplace is a party are identified. Further, one or more subsets of these transactions that satisfy combinable criteria are identified, and an invoice is generated for at least one of the identified subsets of transactions.

Abstract:

In one embodiment, a combination of transactions, established utilizing a network-based marketplace, is facilitated on a single invoice to be issued by a first party. A rule, specified by the first party, for an automated calculation of charges in connection with invoices issued by the first party is identified. This rule is then dynamically invoked to calculate a charge for the plurality of transactions included in the single invoice to be issued by the first party.

A system and method for providing automatic advertising and category distribution for online computer users is disclosed.
