Ultrasound Experience:<br/> Ability to effectively operate a variety of Sonographic equipment<br/> Ability to evaluate sonograms in order to acquire appropriate diagnostic information<br/> Evaluate, synthesize, and communicate diagnostic information to the attending physician<br/> Ability to integrate diagnostic sonograms, laboratory results, patient history, medical records, adapt Sonographic examination as necessary and ability to use independent judgment<br/> Ability to communicate effectively with the patient and the health care team, recognizing the special nature of Sonographic examinations and patient's needs. <br/> Leveraged cognitive Sonographic skills to identify, record, and adapt procedures<br/> Managed the sterilization of ultrasound equipment and procedure room. <br/> Supervised and scanned general and vascular ultrasound examinations ordered by the physicians for diagnostic purposes. <br/> These included, but not limited to general abdomen, renal, liver transplants and carotid<br/><br/>Medical Assisting Experience:<br/> Hands on training included: Measured vitals, finger sticks, blood drawing, observed papsmears, assisted with colposcopy, pregnancy tests, measured glucose levels, operated blood spinning centrifuge, prepared examination rooms, patient charting, handled extremely heavy call volume, phone triage between pharmacy and doctors office, filing and faxing
