Abstract:

A disposable cap is formed by sealing together two sheets of thermoplastic film in such a manner as to form an enclosure having an access opening with respect thereto. Adjacent the access opening in one of the sheets of film is cut a T-shaped arrangement of slits which form two straps or ties in the resulting product. These straps or ties are located adjacent the opening and are attended to adapt the construction to the various head sizes of various users. The excess film material is trimmed off. A relatively large seal is effected adjacent the roots of the ties or straps in order to provide an anchorage for the same.

Abstract:

There is disclosed a mounting assembly for positioning a roll of sheet material within a dispenser including oppositely aligned receiving sockets wherein said roll of sheet material is formed on a hollow core, comprising a first arbor member formed of flange member, a core insertion member coaxially mounted on the flange member and positionable in the hollow core of the roll of sheet material and a socket insertion member coaxially positioned on the flange member on a side opposite the core insertion member and positionably in one of the oppositely aligned sockets in the dispenser and a second arbor member comprised of a flange member with a centrally positioned orifice, mounted to a core insertion member having a cylindrically shaped chamber, positionable in the hollow core of the roll of sheet material, a socket insertion member including a collar disposed within the chamber of the core insertion member and having an end thereof extending through the orifice of the flange member and positionable in one of said oppositely aligned sockets in the dispenser, and a spring disposed in the chamber between an end portion of the core insertion member and the socket insertion member.

Abstract:

A glove is formed of plastic films which are sealed together along lateral edges between which is formed a peripheral seal in the form of a contour providing thumb, forefinger and further receptacles. The further receptacle is intended to accommodate three fingers. In this arrangement, interior seals are provided which are in part spaced from the lateral edges and parallel thereto but which merge with the respective lateral edges to form lateral receptacles between which is an opening for the penetration of the hand of the user. The films are processed by bringing two films together and forming the contour seal thereon while forming at the lateral edges a rectilinear seal having on opposite sides thereof the adjacent interior seals of two successive gloves. The successive gloves are made separable by the provision of a line of perforations which are formed in correspondence with the lateral seals.
