Evan Richardson studied Art and Drama at University of Kentucky where he received a B.F.A. degree, with further commercial art studies at Pratt Institute, Brooklyn, NY. His writing studies in NYC include Marymount Manhattan College and New School University, playwright studies with The New Dramatists and playwright/teacher Jeffery Sweet, and music studies with the Songwriters Hall of Fame. He has been writing for over 18 years with a body of work that includes 5 screenplays, 2 plays, 2 musicals for which he wrote the music, lyrics, and the libretto, a memoir entitled: THE STAR SHINER: Memoir of a Celebrity Make-up Artist, published December 15, 2012 by McFarland & Co., www.amazon.com/author/evanrichardson , an adventure story for children entitled; RUPERT: The Rat that Ran with the Squirrels, and a murder/thriller entitled: TRUCK STOP. His musical, GUYS has had 5 staged readings presented in NYC by the National Music Theatre Network and the Genesis Guild.
