Abstract:

A heatsink system () is provided for containing and engaging a heatsink () against a heat generating component, typically an IC chip (). The system () includes a rectangular integrally formed resilient frame () defining a cavity () in which the heatsink () is contained. The frame () includes a pair of opposed lateral sides () and a pair of opposing gripping sides () with L-shaped corner blocks () depending from the intersections thereof. The gripping sides () include centrally positioned grip handles () extending upward and grip blocks () depending therefrom, each grip block () having a grip tongue () at the lower extent thereof extending inward into the cavity (). Inward pressure on the grip handles () forces the grip tongues () outward to release objects captured thereby.

Abstract:

An apparatus for selectively dosing a solid is provided and includes (1) a flexible guide tube that include a first end and an opposing second end and has a bore formed therethrough from the first end to the second end; (2) a dispensing tip disposed at the first end of the guide tube and including a bore formed completely therethrough and defining a reservoir fore holding one or more dosing solids until actuation of the apparatus; and (3) a stylet that is dimensioned so as to be slideably received within through the bore of the flexible guide tube, the stylet having a first end and an opposing second end. Abstract:

A guide rail system is provided that allows multiple optical communications modules to be mounted in close proximity to one another on a host circuit board. A first portion of the guide rail system is secured to a bottom surface of the host circuit board at locations on the bottom surface of the circuit board adjacent an opening formed in the circuit board. A second portion of the guide rail system is disposed on bottom surfaces of the optical communications modules. The first portion includes one or more pairs of rails and the second portion includes one or more guide blocks configured to slidingly engage the rails. The opening formed in the circuit board allows the rails to be accessed and also allows heat from the module to be dissipated down into the first portion and then into a heat dissipation structure secured to the first portion.
