Abstract:

A system that enables the search for providers of services or products, for a given user query that's in free text, and typically the services or products are focused on a particular area, such as an industry, a sector, etc. The system thus enables a searcher to submit queries that are substantially similar to those asked to an expert in the area, and get back results that are helpful in their decision making in obtaining services or products. Thus the searcher's experience is substantially similar to that of consulting a human expert. The system employs methods in matching and placing advertisements in relation to user queries and the concepts contained in these queries. Still further, it employs other various methods to enhance the searcher's effectiveness in their decision making. Finally, the system searches for queries that are composes of at least two languages. The system further comprises a method to (a) turn a large number of records, typically web pages crawled from the entire Web, into hundreds or even thousands of logical partitions, where each partition is associated with an identifier; and (b) take a user query that typically contains an identifier or several identifiers, and match records in those partitions with the identifier(s), or alternatively, take a user query, return multiple results, and then take the user's selection of identifier(s) and re-process the results so that only those associated with the selected identifier(s) are returned to the user.

Abstract:

A method of wireless communication with improved performance employs an equalizer receiver with multiple receive antennas. Equalizer taps for linear filters of the equalizer receiver are generated by determining a conditioned covariance matrix of a first data path and a second data path based on a first gain (g) of this first data path and a second gain (g) of the second data path. The equalizer taps of the first data path and the second data path are determined based on the conditioned covariance matrix. The first data path and the second data path are then equalized using the equalizer taps. An equalized signal is generated by combining the equalized first data path with the equalized second data path.

Abstract:

A slot in a frame of n frames is received at user equipment (UE). Valid slots are detected based on a given validity criterion. The valid slots are classified as outage slots if an estimated signal quality does not exceed an outage signal quality. A total valid slot count and a total outage slot count are accumulated over an outer loop duration spanning a plurality of the slots. The total outage slot count is compared to a preset ratio of the total valid slot count. A target signal quality is updated based on the comparison.

Abstract:

Wireless communications systems and methods related to wireless communications in a system are provided. A user equipment (UE) may determine a plurality of antenna configurations for a plurality of channel frequencies. The UE may determine a set of signal strengths for at least one beam received at one or more antenna configurations of the plurality of antenna configurations for at least one of the channel frequencies. The UE may select, based on the set of signal strengths, a first antenna configuration of the plurality of antenna configurations. After selection of the first antenna configuration, the UE may communicate with a base station, in one or more channel frequencies based on the first antenna configuration.

Abstract:

Aspects of the present disclosure implement techniques that allow a vehicle performing V2X communications to provide more accurate S-RSSI measurements and CBR calculations for use in channel selection and congestion control. Techniques may include measuring a sidelink received signal strength indicator (S-RSSI) for each of a plurality of sub-channels, determining one or more signal impairment adjustment factors based on the S-RSSI for each of the plurality of sub-channels, calculating a channel busy ratio (CBR) for the plurality of sub-channels based on the one or more signal impairment adjustment factors, and initiating communication with at least one of the plurality of sub-channels based on at least the CBR.
