Began as ER nurse in Iowa and transferred to emergency psych. After moving east spent 25 years in psych and addictions nursing in all care levels with children and adults. After grad school also began teaching at the state college systems in VT, NH, and MA as adjunct professor which I really loved. Retired from teaching in 2009 and from nursing in 2011.
