I have been in the mortgage industry for 26 years during which time I have worked in various capacities from underwriting to selling loans on the secondary market; I have served in my current role for over 15 years. I do not view this as a sales position but rather one of building and maintaining relationships, based on trust and mutual respect, with current and prospective clients alike. My role is to provide my clients with the best possible information and competitive rates and fees that will enable them to make an informed decision. I currently serve on the Board of the Silicon Valley chapter of CAMB, the California Association of Mortgage Brokers, and am an active participant in Freddie Mac's "Don't Borrow Trouble" campaign and in CAMB's "Preserving Home Ownership Initiative". These are both volunteer groups whose purpose is to council and help homeowners in jeopardy of losing their homes; my participation is a way of giving something back to the community that has provided me with a living for so many years.
