Abstract:
A hosted multi-tenant application is provided that permits a tenant to self-manage aspects of the operation of the application. A tenant may be permitted to upgrade the multi-tenant application on-demand or according to a schedule, to place the multi-tenant application into a read-only mode of operation, to create a shadow copy of their unshared organization database, to merge changes to a shadow copy into a master version of the unshared organization database, to create and revert to snapshots of an unshared organization database, and to perform other functions. A computing architecture that utilizes site-wide server computers and scale groups may be utilized to implement this functionality.

The Board of Trustees of the Leland Stanford Junior University - Stanford CA
International Classification:
H01M 10/0568 H01M 10/0567 H01M 10/052
Abstract:
Disclosed herein are ionic liquid electrolytes comprising lithium cations, sodium cations, organic cations, and fluorinated anions, wherein a concentration of the lithium cations is about 1.3 M or greater. Also disclosed are batteries comprising an anode, a cathode, and the electrolyte of this disclosure disposed between the anode and the cathode.

International Classification:
G06T 5/00 G06K 9/46 H04N 5/235
Abstract:
Devices, methods, and computer-readable media are disclosed describing an adaptive approach for image bracket selection and fusion, e.g., to generate low noise and high dynamic range (HDR) images in a wide variety of capturing conditions. An incoming image stream may be obtained from an image capture device, wherein the incoming image stream comprises a variety of differently-exposed captures, e.g., EV images, EV− images, EV+ images, long exposure (or synthetic long exposure) images, EV/EV− image pairs, etc., which are received according to a particular pattern. When a capture request is received, a set of rules and/or a decision tree may be used to evaluate one or more capture conditions associated with the images from the incoming image stream and determine which two or more images to select for a fusion operation. A noise reduction process may optionally be performed on the selected images before (or after) the registration and fusion operations.

An incoming image stream may be obtained from an image capture device, wherein the incoming image stream comprises a variety of differently-exposed captures, e.g., EV0 images, EV− images, EV+ images, long exposure (or synthetic long exposure) images, EV0/EV− image pairs, etc., which are received according to a particular pattern. When a capture request is received, a set of rules and/or a decision tree may be used to evaluate one or more capture conditions associated with the images from the incoming image stream and determine which two or more images to select for a fusion operation. The disclosed embodiments relate to a system that detects and controls operations performed by abusive accounts in a customer-relationship-management system. During operation, the system obtains account-related information for an account in the customer-relationship-management system. Next, the system determines a likelihood that the account is being used for abusive purposes based on the account-related information. Finally, the system limits a rate of processing for application-programming interface (API) calls made from the account to the customer-relationship-management system based on the determined likelihood that the account is being used for abusive purposes.
