The more you know and prepare up front, the smoother your experience will be." WHO I AM Hello, my name is Helen Ruehmer and I am a professional loan officer licensed in Ohio and Kentucky. I help people by arranging their financing when they purchase or refinance their home. I started originating residential mortgage loans in January 1996. I grew up on the west side of Cincinnati. I recently moved to Lakeside Park, KY from Harrison, OH. As a local loan officer, I know the ins and outs of the Ohio and Kentucky markets. WHO I HELP I help first time home buyers and I help buyers that have owned a home before. People trust me to take care of their clients, family, friends and co-workers. HOW I HELP THEM I take a thorough application upfront. Part of my job is to anticipate what an underwriter is going to ask for and collect the information, explanations and documents. I coach borrowers through this process. If you haven't bought a home in the last few years, you'll find that the process is significantly different. People only think about home financing a few times during their life. I think about it every single day. To the borrower's advantage, I stay on top of the changes to program guidelines and industry trends.
