In 2005 we moved to Shandaken, 5 miles from the village of Phoenicia and deeper in the Catskills Park. I love being so close to such extensive wilderness areas and actively participate in activities which make the best of these great natural resources - hiking, canoeing, gardening and birdwatching are my current favorites! My real estate interests began fairly young; I purchased my first home in the Woodstock hamlet of Bearsville before I graduated college and became a landlord, too. I've owned several homes in the area and have experienced first-hand the ups and downs of real estate. In 2010 despite the gloomy real estate market, I left my 10 year-career with a professional planning and development consulting firm (located a good distance from home along the Hudson River in Beacon), to devote my efforts full time to real estate. I have experience with all types of real estate transactions and do not discriminate based on price range -- whether you are looking for a 100k home or a million dollar home, you will receive top-notch professional and ethical service.
