Abstract:

A process of handling packet data in a packet buffer is disclosed. Free pointers are stored in a plurality of free pointer queues, with each of the plurality free pointer queues in a form of a linked list and the free pointers are retrieved from each of the plurality of free pointer queues and storing in a prefetch memory to provide a throughput of one free pointer per clock cycle. When an initial portion of a data packet is received, two free pointers are retrieved from the prefetch memory. One of the two free pointers is stored in a start pointer register connoting a start of the data packet and one free pointer is supplied for data elements of the data packet. One free pointer per middle data element is supplied, while no new pointer is needed for the end of packet data element. The start of the data packet is linked with an end of packet portion of a previously received packet in an output queue memory and a data element is read out of the data packet from the output queue memory when selected by a transmission scheduler and releasing a pointer of the data element to one of the plurality of free pointer queues in a way that balances the lengths of all free pointer queues. Additionally, all pointers of a packet are released to one of the plurality of free pointer queues within one cycle when the packet is dropped.

Abstract:

One of a linked list memories is selected as a defect marking memory and faults in rows of the defect marking memory are detected. Row addresses having at least one fault in defect address registers are stored. Faults in rows of other linked list memories are detected, where the other linked list memories are the linked list memories other than the defect marking memory and a marking code is stored for each row address of the other linked list memories in the defect marking memory, where a particular marking code indicates whether a particular row address has at least one fault. The defect address registers and the defect marking memory are searched when addresses of the linked list memories are linked and row addresses indicated as having at least one fault are skipped in the linking process.

Abstract:

A pole adaptor for connecting and disconnecting a multi-task pole with an attachment tool provides a secure connection and preserves the useful life of the multi-task pole. The adaptor embodies an elongated cylindrical housing having a first open end with two clip holes, a mid-section, and a second open end having four tab holes. The first open end forms a receptacle for the multi-task pole and an alignment with the clip holes for securely attaching the pole adaptor. The second open end forms a receptacle for the attachment tool handle and allowing the handle tabs to connect with two tab holes therein. Four tab holes are provided at the second open end for continued use of the adaptor if two tab wholes wear out.

Provided are compositions and methods for enhancing immune responses to an antigen. The compositions contain an isolated population of CD8+T cells and an inhibitor of mammalian target of rapamycin (mTOR). A high frequency ultrasonic transducer may include a plurality of adjacent ultrasonic transducer elements. The adjacent transducer elements may be sized and configured so as to resonate at a frequency that is at least 15 MHz. The adjacent transducer elements may collectively form an aperture that is substantially convex along a lateral dimension spanning the cascaded width of the adjacent transducer elements. The aperture may be substantially concave along an elevation spanning the height of each of the transducer elements. The ultrasonic transducer and an associated transmitter system may be configured so as to enable ultrasound that is radiated from the plurality of the transducer elements to be focused on and to scan across locations that are no more than 30 millimeters from the aperture and that span across a field of view of at least 50 degrees without movement of the ultrasonic transducer or tissue during the scanning.

Abstract:

A bullet is fired from an ammunition cartridge upon piercing a breakaway section in the rear wall of the cartridge to form a gas escape port. The cartridge has one open end in which is seated the bullet and the breakaway section of the rear wall is directly opposite the bullet. A moveable sealing element is adapted to move between two positions. One position seals off the opening in the one end, and the other position is displaced from the opening to allow gas to escape under pressure from the opening. Piston-type element, in response to the housing wall being pierced, stops the flow of gas from this escape port and moves the sealing element from the first to the second position.
