Education:
Harvard University Cambridge, MA 2009 to 2014 Ph.D. in Engineering SciencesSeoul National University 2006 to 2008 M.S. in Electrical Engineering and Computer ScienceSeoul National University 1999 to 2001 B.S. in Electrical Engineering
Skills:
Semiconductor fabrication 5+ years cleanroom experience. Developed complete nanowire photodetector fabrication process (e-beam & photo lithography, doping, wet & dry etching, LPCVD, PECVD, RTP, sputtering, e-beam & thermal evaporation, SEM & AFM imaging), electrical characterization, microfluidic device fabrication, and PCB design. Optical setup Built several free-space optical setups (DMD maskless lithography setup, video rate confocal microscope setup, photodetector characterization setup, optical tweezers setup). Micro-optics fabrication for insect eye cameras. Programming Developed several research related acquisition and control programs (based on LabVIEW, MATLAB and Visual Basic/C++). Built a microscope imaging software for video rate confocal microscope (Matrox MIL & Visual Basic), microcontroller programming (PIC) for commercial arc-spark detectors, constructed [] core Beowulf clusters for FDTD simulation.
