Abstract:

A hydraulically damped mounting device has a first anchor part in the form of a tube and a second anchor part in the form of a ring around the tube, which ring is connected to the tube by a resilient wall. The device has a working chamber for hydraulic fluid partially bonded by the resilient wall and connected to a compensation chamber by a passageway. The chamber is partially bounded by a flexible bellows which may have a ribbed surface. The first anchor part may also include a helmet extending over the flexible bellows, which helmet is in abutting non-bonded contact with the tube. The second anchor part may have components forming a support arc to which the resilient wall is attached and a radially inner positioning arc.

An assembly includes a housing, one or more telescoping brackets movably secured to the housing, and a door portion movably secured to the housing and the one or more telescoping brackets. A method for providing increased access to a storage compartment includes the steps of movably joining one or more telescoping brackets to a housing, movably joining a door portion to the one or more telescoping brackets and the housing, and moving the door portion to cause the one or more telescoping brackets to telescopingly project the door relative housing to provide access to a storage compartment.

Abstract:

An assembly for coupling a first component with a second component. The assembly may comprise first and second connectors respectively associated with the first and second components, a first biasing member carried by either the first or second connector, and a second biasing member also carried by either the first connector or the second connector. When mated together, the first and second connectors are biased in a first direction by the first biasing member thereby constraining relative movement between the connectors in the first direction. The connectors are also biased in a second direction by the second biasing member thereby constraining relative movement between the connectors in the second direction, wherein the second direction is oriented at a non-zero angle relative to the first direction. And the connectors are relatively slidable in a third direction different from the first and second directions.
