Skills:

For the past 14 years, I have been closely involved in real estate transactions across various asset classes. Responsibilities include originating, directing the marketing, real estate assignments and/or equity joint ventures for all types of commercial property from acquisition, land development, approvals and disposition. The ability to navigate complex financial transactions (re: market reversal in 2007 where most commercial properties were underwater) and help raise capital for deals from $2-20m. I assist in not only finding and putting together the deal, but bringing in the proper resources for debt, mezzanine debt and JV equity to help make a successful project. Most importantly the ability to see the big picture, break the problem down to its components, solve problems- and clearly articulate how to do so. Skills: Originate and source deals, create investment books using comparables and precedent transactions in the marketplace, and perform financial analysis on properties to determine value. Work with various entrepreneurs, business owners and private equity firms how to monetize their real estate. I've put together deals from idea through land development approvals to final build and sell/"cash out"- but the toughest skill is to "finesse" the deal into place with strong minded principals.
