Abstract:

A three piece belly-band crossmember is provided which may be installed as a single assembly and from which the center subassembly may be removed after installation, allowing access to the vehicle powertrain. The crossmember maintains integral strength as a result of a tab and slot arrangement and overlapping frame mounting holes between its three subassemblies. It may be provided with a suspension component mounting point. It is emphasized that this abstract is provided to comply with the rules requiring an abstract that will allow a searcher or other reader to quickly ascertain the subject matter of the technical disclosure. Abstract:

A chassis skirt mounting assembly () for a vehicle having a tank () and a chassis skirt () includes a tank strap bracket () attached to the tank, the tank strap bracket having a first adjustment slot () with a first length dimension. An adjustment bracket () is attached to the chassis skirt () and has a second adjustment slot () with a second length dimension oriented generally 90-degrees offset from the first length dimension of the first adjustment slot (). A double-sided stud () is disposed through the first adjustment slot () and the second adjustment slot () to allow the independent adjustment of the double-sided stud with respect to the first adjustment slot from the adjustment of the double-sided stud with respect to the second adjustment slot.

Abstract:

A suspension link for an axle of a motor vehicle includes first and second arms, with the first and second arms being laterally spaced and substantially parallel. A first end of each arm is coupled to the axle by a bushing. A second end of each arm is coupled to a motor vehicle frame by a frame bushing. A sway bar is rigidly mounted between the first and second arms substantially distal to the first ends of the first and second arms, proximate to the second ends and parallel to the axle.
