Abstract:
The present invention provides a fastener mounting clip for use in securing a fastener to sheet material having a bore hole formed therein. The fastener mounting clip is preferably formed of a single sheet of thin spring steel. The mounting clip includes a rectilinear planar surface having opposing guide arms and opposing retainer arms extending beneath its outer edge at obtuse angles. The guide arms are operative to minimize the insertion force required for seating the fastener mounting clip in the bore hole formed in the sheet material. The retaining arms are resiliently flexible and compress and expand during insertion wherein a top end of the retaining arm abuts against the sheet material when the fastener mounting clip is fully seated within the bore hole. The planar surface includes support tabs for supporting the planar surface in the plane of the sheet material and also includes a recessed aperture for receiving and retaining a fastener therein.

Abstract:
A strand end fitting includes a housing adapted to be attached to a mounting pin located on a moveable member and having a passageway extending therethrough. The strand end fitting also includes a longitudinal member having an aperture therethrough telescopingly disposed within the passageway whereby a strand extends through the longitudinal member and has a retainer member secured thereon which abuts the longitudinal member. Once the longitudinal member is properly positioned within the housing a locking structure prevents relative movement between the longitudinal member and the housing.

Abstract:
A cable assembly for rotating a member in response to a rotating input, including first and second pulleys and at least one conduit extending longitudinally and interconnecting the first and second pulleys. At least one strand extends longitudinally through the conduit and at least partially about the first and second pulleys. The first pulley includes a slack adjustment mechanism for adjusting slack in the strands.
The present disclosure provides a fastener for securing a bundle to a supporting structure, the fastener including a fastener body and a slip-resistant pad. The fastener body can include an article mount and a cable tie slot extending transversely through the article mount, the cable tie slot adapted to receive a cable tie. The mount provides support for a bundle and the slip-resistant pad is capable of friction with the bundle to resist axial movement and/or rotation of the bundle.
Cable Fastening Assembly And Method For Using Same
The disclosed inventive concept provides a cable fastener assembly for securing a plurality of cables onto a stud. The cable fastener assembly includes a housing and a punch-nut for securing the housing onto the stud. The housing includes a base, a sidewall, and at least one attachment member extending from the sidewall. The base has an opening formed therein for receiving the stud and the sidewall includes at least one attachment member for securing a cable tie thereto. The punch-nut includes a base and an opening formed therein for receiving the stud. By providing interchangeable punch-nuts to be used with the housing, the disclosed inventive concept can accommodate studs having different shapes. Preferably, a pair of perpendicular passageways is formed within each attachment member. A cable tie may then be secured within each passageway for securing cables to the housing along different axes.

Abstract:
A cable tie assembly including a fastener that includes base member. A retention leg extends from the base member for being received by and secured to a bore defined by the support structure. The fastener further includes a first hook that extends from the base member. The cable tie assembly also includes a lock housing that defines a channel that receives the base member of the fastener. The lock housing also includes a strap for being wrapped about the article. The lock housing further includes a second hook for engaging the first hook of the fastener when the lock housing is received by the channel to prevent movement of the fastener relative to the lock housing. The lock housing further includes a cross-member disposed below the second hook for preventing downward movement of the first hook while the first hook is positioned in engagement with the second hook.
