A product holding, displaying and dispensing assembly includes a dispenser housing having a feed channel and a dispensing location together with a pre-packed, shipping cartridge holding a plurality of product units. The cartridge is inserted and held within the dispenser housing as the product units move within the cartridge to the dispensing location where a consumer can access and remove one or more product units. Unlike more conventional dispensers, the assembly of the present invention is configured so that the pre-packed cartridge is loaded into and remains within the housing as the product units are dispensed and advance forward within the dispenser. After insertion, the cartridge is locked in place by an arrangement of the feed track when one or more cans remain in the cartridge, but can be removed easily when the cartridge is empty. A forward facing surface also provides an additional advertising medium.
A system of retail store fixtures having downwardly mounted spring feeding pusher devices for pushing products toward the front of shelves. In one embodiment, the pusher devices extend downward from shelves and push products in open tray type of bulk product shipment containers on a lower shelf forward toward the consumer. In another embodiment, the pushers and product trays are in a self-contained module for placement on shelves.
A modular vending and display system and a method of operation of the system, which is especially applicable to high-value and pilfer-prone products such as prestige fragrances, and to self-service shopping environments. The system enables shoppers to self-sample various scents and self-dispense fragrance product packages for later purchase. The system uses a plurality of modules which, upon actuation by a shopper, convey a package toward the shopper within individual enclosures such that only one package can be removed at a time, and then de-activate for a time delay period to prevent rapid removal of multiple packages from the module. The modules may interact, so that once a shopper has selected a product at one module in the system, other modules are also de-activated during the delay period. This reduces pilferage by making it difficult to remove more than one package during the delay period from a group of modules.
Merchandise display unit including vertical parallel panels arranged in side by side facing relation along a lateral display area, such that the panels extend crosswise thereof and the facing sides of a given pair of adjacent panels define a display space therebetween, each facing side having a lattice of side by side vertical rows of horizontal tiers of panel joint formations, e. g. grooves, correspondingly arranged for coaction with those of the lattice of the other facing side to form a plurality of facing cooperating pairs of panel joint formations in the display space, and crossbars for mounting merchandise display elements thereon in a given display space, the crossbar ends having an opposed pair of crossbar joint formations, e. g. tongues, mating with each facing cooperating pair of panel joint formations to form opposed joints. A crossbar can be mounted between adjacent panels at the location of any facing cooperating pair of panel joint formations thereon and will interlock the panels via the joints.

Abstract:
A corrugated board display panel with peghooks wherein the peghooks are installed from the rear of the panel. With peghooks in place in the main panel side wings are folded along scored creases permanently encasing peghook bases which remain on the rear side of the corrugated display panel. The side wings are then permanently affixed to the main panel with staples or glue or any other convenient fastening means. The peghooks then project outwardly and forward through slots in the main display panel and at an upward angle of tilt.
