Abstract:

The present invention relates to a method and apparatus for a reconfigurable multi-chip module. The reconfigurable multi-chip module includes a processor; a memory module connected to the processor; and a memory control component for controlling whether the processor uses the memory module. The method of producing multi-chip modules includes assembling a processor and a memory module on the multi-chip module; testing the memory module; and selectively configuring the processor to use the memory module based on the testing of the memory module.

Abstract:

Techniques for providing location information describing a communication device configured to exchange telephony information over a computer network. A switching device of the computer network receives a first message according to a node-to-node communication protocol, the first message indicating that the endpoint communication device includes a configuration for a mode of operation on behalf of a telephone service account. The switching device determines from the first message an identifier of the telephone service account and sends the determined identifier in a second message via the computer network, the second message in support of a location service.

A method and a system that identify seller ads to potential buyers within a network-based commerce system are provided. The method and system may operate to receive a request including a product identification from a seller, and assign to the seller, based on a distance function and the product identification, a matching identification entry included in a set of identification entries. The request may also include financial metrics. The method and system may further include operations to identify one or more seller ads associated with the matching identification entry, as determined by a distance measured between the matching identification entry and at least one extracted identification entry extracted from a selected content page and included in the set of identification entries. The identification of the one or more seller ads may also be determined by a relevance function based on the financial metrics.

Abstract:

An I/O buffer is provided that is noise-isolated, i. e. , less susceptible to the effect of switching noise. In particular, a noise isolated I/O buffer includes an output terminal, a transient switching circuit connected to first power and ground voltage sources, to a logic input signal and to the output terminal, and a logic holding circuit connected to second power and ground voltage sources separate from the first power ground voltage sources, to the logic input signal and to the output terminal. The transient switching circuit causes a logic level of the output terminal to be switched responsive to a change in the input signal. The logic holding circuit causes the logic level of the output terminal to be maintained in the absence of a change in the input signal. In the absence of a change in the input signal, the transient switching circuit may be turned off, therefore presenting a high impedance to the first power and ground voltage sources. Switching noise in the first power supply network therefore is not transmitted through to the outputs of unswitched I/O buffers.
