Abstract:

One aspect of the invention relates to a trash receptacle adapted to use a plastic grocery bag as a liner. The trash receptacle has a back wall and two side walls, but a front that is open or at least partially open. Another aspect of the invention also relates to a trash receptacle adapted to use a plastic grocery bag as a liner. According to this aspect of the invention, the trash receptacle has a backboard. A further aspect of the invention relates to advertising by offering a trash receptacle adapted to use a plastic grocery bag as a liner as an advertising specialty. A still further aspect of the invention relates to using trash receptacles adapted to use plastic grocery bags as liners as a marketing premium in a continuity promotion.

Abstract:

One aspect of the invention relates to a small trash receptacle, generally less than 12″ in height, adapted to use plastic bags as liners. In one embodiment, the trash receptacle has sides, which can be decorative and provide stability, and a front that reveals the fill level of a clear bag. In another embodiment, the receptacle has a backboard that can be used for labeling or advertising. Another aspect of the invention relates to fittings that hold an ordinary plastic bag in the receptacle without the bag obscuring the receptacle.

The invention relates to a funeral/memorial/death anniversary reminder service. This service helps funeral attendees to reflect on the life of the deceased and, where appropriate, to contact the bereaved and express support on a funeral anniversary. Contrary to common wisdom, under certain circumstances, expressing support to the bereaved on the funeral anniversary has a positive effect and is appreciated. The service can be an effective way of advertising a funeral related business.
