About:
A transplant from Seattle, Jenny fell in love with the East Bay the moment she stepped foot on the Mills College campus in the late nineties. Obtaining her degree with a focus on print journalism, Jenny went on to work at several local newspapers including the Oakland Tribune and the Contra Costa Times. During her time reporting on the people and communities of the East Bay, she amassed a wide spectrum of local knowledge from school district API scores to the inner workings of city and county offices. A genuine denizen of the East Bay, Jenny has lived and worked in many local neighborhoods including Temescal, Rockridge, Laurel, Allendale, Uptown, Dogtown, North Berkeley, Claremont, Poets Corner, as well as the nearby cities of Emeryville, El Cerrito, Albany and Richmond. Her knowledge of home renovation projects is expansive and first-hand. Married to a builder for 10 years, Jenny has successfully completed a major remodel on a shoestring budget while keeping her sanity and humor intact. Hint: Remember that one day you'll look back on this fondly and laugh. Jenny is passionate about the East Bay and all that it has to offer. She would love to show you around and help you find a home that's the perfect fit. When she's not tending to the veggie beds and flock of hens in her Berkeley backyard, you can probably find her with her husband and young daughter trying to order everything on the menu at the newest East Bay restaurant.
