Abstract:
A laser tissue fusion device is optimized for particular surgical applications to join tissue layers. The device has two opposed arms that engage and disengage to clamp and release layers of tissue therebetween. The distal end of the first arm is disposed opposite the distal end of the second arm. A laser energy source generates therapeutic laser energy is either integrated within the device is a separate unit. An energy pathway transmits the laser energy to the distal end of the first arm to deliver the laser energy to tissue layers clamped between the distal ends of the arms. An actuator decreases the separation distance between the distal ends of the arms to clamp the tissue layers and activates the laser energy source upon engagement. The laser energy source delivers a burst of energy at a predetermined wavelength for a predetermined period of time sufficient to spot weld the tissue.

Systems And Methods For Determination Of Lawn Nutrient And Treatment Regimen Based On Publicly Available Information And Specific Testing Data And The Periodic Delivery Of Supplies For Said Lawn Nutrient And Treatment Regimen
A method of determining a lawn treatment plan and delivering lawn treatments includes receiving at a user interface an address having a lawn. The method further includes determining an initial lawn size for the lawn based on the address. The method further includes receiving confirmation of the initial lawn size. The method further includes calculating a lawn treatment plan based on the initial lawn size. The method further includes providing the lawn treatment plan to a customer. The method further includes providing instruction for providing the lawn treatment plan to a fulfillment center. The method further includes delivering packetized lawn treatments according to the lawn treatment plan on a periodic basis to the customer for treatment of the lawn.

Abstract:
An orthopedic bone tamp and bone stabilization material delivery device is operable to reduce depressed bone fragments to an elevated position and concurrently introduce to the fracture zone bone stabilization material so as to stabilize the newly positioned fragment. A bone tamp comprising a cannula having a tubular wall with outside diameter and inside diameters and defining a distal and proximal ends includes a bone displacement face associated with the closed distal end. A lumen defined by the walls of the cannula extends from the proximal end and terminates at the distal end face where it is associated with several apertures. The displacement face of the cannula is configured to operably manipulate and reduce bone fragments to an elevated position while the apertures and lumen can concurrently deliver to the fracture zone a bone stabilization material.

Abstract:
By using an iterative loop of data collection, binaural tone generation/presentation, and analysis binaural tones can be introduced to induce an existing brain state to change from one associated with being awake to a state associated with being asleep. The current state of an individual's brain is determined by measuring movement and electrical activity. Using this data a binaural tone can be generated to induce the brain state to change. As the state of the brain is continually monitored the applied binaural tone is modified and applied until the desired sleep state is obtained.

Abstract:
An electronic device, worn like a button, supports and enhances social face-to-face interaction. The electronic button stores information associated with a person's professional and/or personal interests and preferences. This information is continuously broadcast and, when received by another button, analyzed to determine if the receiving and transmitting button possess any commonalities. If a commonality is found, colored light(s) illuminate to let the individuals within the immediate vicinity know a common interest exist. In one version different colored lights can represent different interests.
