Abstract:
A bottle suspending device primarily for a toilet cleaner dispenser bottle for use in a toilet tank. A pivotal member is received in a recess of the bottle's sidewall when stored and is swingable outwardly to an extended position for resting over the top of the toilet tank wall when the bottle is inverted. The pivotal member has a pair of protruding nipples which are press fit upon assembly onto a pair of corresponding sockets in the recess of the bottle wall, so that the pivotal member rotates from its stored position through about 90. degree. to its extended position along a horizontal pivot axis near the upper end of the suspended inverted bottle. A pair of stop ribs on the pivotal member near the pivot axis abut against the dispenser bottle walls when the pivotal member is extended, to prevent rotation beyond the extended position, and structure associated with the recess provides further protection against over-pivoting. A lip at the other end of the pivotal member grips the edge of the toilet tank wall to maintain the bottle in its intended inverted position.

Abstract:
A liquid dispenser for dispensing liquid from an inverted bottle into a tank at times when water in the tank drops below a buoying level. A hollow annular stationary member closes off the bottle's neck and has an annular diaphragm leading to a tube with seats at its upper and lower ends. A movable member has two portions that are slidable in the said tube and are joined by a measuring portion. It seats against one seat in its upper position with the measuring portion then wholly above the tube and against the other in its lower position, with the measuring portion then wholly below the tube, and it is moved between them by the change of water level in the tank. This movement is aided with a buoying skirt having an annular chamber that is normally filled with water and drains only after falling; the same chamber helps to dispose the measured charge of the other liquid.
A bicycle pedal system comprising a shoe clip which attaches to a bicyclist's shoe and has a pair of serrated lateral tongues which couple with and are easily inserted into complementary serrated recesses in the associated bicycle pedal. The construction and configuration of the system, including the negative undercut serrations permits easy insertion of the clip into the pedal and permits relatively easy lateral sliding of the clip along the pedal and lateral removal of the clip from the pedal when not in use, but securely lock the clip in the pedal against relative lateral movement during use as well as against transverse separation.
