Abstract:

A sash window includes two window frames disposed in lateral juxtaposition and each including a head member, a sill member and a pair of jamb members connected together into a rectangular configuration, and a pair of upper and lower sashes supported within a respective one of the window frames. A sill nose is mounted to exterior sides of the sill members and extends continuously from an outer end of one sill member to an outer end of the other sill member. Each of the upper sashes is fixed to the respective one of the window frames by attachment members.

Abstract:

A sash window includes two window frames disposed in lateral juxtaposition and each including a head member, a sill member and a pair of jamb members connected together into a rectangular configuration, and a pair of upper and lower sashes supported within a respective one of the window frames. A sill nose facing member is mounted to exterior sides of the sill members and extends continuously from an outer end of one sill member to an outer end of the other sill member. Each window frame has miter joints at corners thereof so as to provide sufficient structural strength. The miter joints formed between the sill member and the jamb members are covered or concealed and do not deteriorate an aesthetic appearance of the sash window.

Abstract:

Systems and methods for air pressure control in a hot melt liquid dispensing system are described. An example hot melt liquid dispensing system includes a pump that pumps hot melt liquid to an applicator. The hot melt liquid dispensing system also includes an air flow path that supplies pressurized air to the pump and an electronic pressure sensor associated with the air flow path. The hot melt liquid dispensing system also includes a controller that receives an electronic signal from the electronic pressure sensor indicative of an air pressure in the air flow path and causes adjustment to the air pressure in the air flow path based on the electronic signal from the electronic pressure sensor.

Abstract:

An adhesive dispensing device () includes a melt module () including a housing () that defines a receiving space to receive adhesive and a heater () to heat the housing to melt the adhesive, and a control module () releasably connected to the melt module. The control module includes a controller () to automatically recognize a characteristic associated with the melt module and operate the melt module using instructions stored on the controller that correspond to the characteristic of the melt module. A method of operating the adhesive dispensing device is also disclosed.
