Abstract:

A device capable of delivering a continuous or intermittent amount of common paint or paint-like material to a surface to be painted utilizing a standard, off the shelf paint brush, the novel use of which allows the operator the ability to continuously paint with the brush and not having to break the work sequence of painting by continuous interruption of having to reload the brush by dipping it into a paint can, the component parts of which consists of a stationary platform which is centrally mounted on the brush in between the area of the brush handle and bristles, this being securely held in place by a pair of lateral brush clamps, these designed to accommodate a variety of brush sizes and widths, and or as an alternative, a broad band of flexible material having a series of central perforations, longitudinally and also having at its ends, reusable, self-adhesive material, and a rigid tube that is mounted on the top of the stationary platform or, alternately, held in place centrally by the perforations in the flexible banding, the tube acting as a conduit for paint, which is delivered from a remote source to the rigid tube via another flexible connecting tube, the paint being pumped or otherwise delivered to the rigid tube terminus and thus flowing onto the bristle portion of the brush, the paint flow being properly distributed on the bristles by an attached apron, which also aids in reducing paint drippings, all of which allows the painter to continuously apply paint to a surface without interruption or increased fatigue.

Abstract:

Improved methods for 3-D motion picture, video or video game images with a one camera system. When a scene is photographed using this system to create 3-D, the scene must be lit so that the midground light intensity is approximately 50% greater than the intensity on the foreground and the background light intensity is approximately double that of the foreground with some subjects in the scene being backlit as well. The scene is photographed by a movable video or motion picture camera moving about the scene at a constant angular velocity in the range of 25-60 degrees per second. Additional cameras photograph the scene from fixed locations spaced approximately 120 degrees apart about the scene. When editing the 3-D film or video tape a method is used to alleviate dizziness by inserting approximately 5-40 seconds of the flat shots from said fixed locations between segments of 3-25 seconds of film or video shot by said moving camera and providing viewing glasses having lenses, one of metallized (mirrored) plastic film creating a silvered effect, void of spectral peaks and of color absorption across all wavelengths, and which gives the lens a neutral density in the range of 0. 5 to 2. 0; and one lens formed of clear film which provides 100% light transmission when viewing through it.

Abstract:

A system for making tortillas includes a sheeter, a roller/heater, and an oven. Tortillas are die cut into an oblong shape in the sheeter. The roller/heater rolls the tortillas into a round shape and conductively heats the tortillas simultaneously on the top and bottom surfaces, gelatinizing the food product and sealing in moisture. The tortillas are then baked in an oven. Slot marks on the tortillas are avoided as the roller/heater has upper and lower belts have continuous surfaces.

Abstract:

An apparatus for optimization of a simulated three-dimensional effect for film or video when constancy of the effect is desired. The apparatus comprises at least one arcuate support rail. A trolley is affixed movably to the support rail. A remotely controlled variable speed motor is affixed to the trolley for moving the trolley along the support rail. A camera mounting is affixed to the trolley and movable horizontally and vertically with respect to the trolley so that a camera is moved at a constant angular velocity relative to a scene to be filmed or recorded. The angular velocity is defined as linear circumferential speed at a specific and constant radius from the scene, the angular velocity being between 25 degrees per second and 65 degrees per second.

Abstract:

A portable automobile undercarriage washing/cleaning device consisting of an inverted bowl-like body portion featuring a water spray nozzle on the top face and a connection for a rigid, non-flexible water pipe on the side of the body, the water pipe ending in a water control valve, and casters underneath of the body and attached to the body, which when all of the components are connected together and secured to a standard garden-type hose, results in a pressurized water spray pattern capable of being delivered to the undercarriage of an automobile, or other wheeled vehicle, the pressurized water spray being used to remove accumulated mud or road salt from the undercarriage of the vehicle, which was deposited on the undercarriage of the vehicle under normal driving conditions on debris-ladened readways and effecting the rapid removal of the debris from the undercarriage and its related structural members.

Abstract:

An improved portable automobile undercarriage washing/cleaning device consisting of an ovoid, bowl-like body portion on the top surface of which is centered a detachable water spray nozzle and an accompanying nearby small tube, which itself connects the interior fluid chamber/reservoir, the fluid consisting of a mixture of detergent and water, with the exterior of the body, the same tube directing a pressurized mixture of detergent and water into the water spray pattern emanating from the nozzle, the mixture then being admixed with the spray, the whole of which when attached via a side connection on the body, to a rigid, non-flexible water pipe, which is itself connected to a garden-type hose via a pistol-grip water control valve, produces a pressurized water spray pattern capable of removing accumulated road salt and debris deposited onto the underside of an automobile or other wheeled vehicle and effecting a rapid removal of the debris from the undercarriage of the automobile or other wheeled vehicle and its related structural members.
