Abstract:

The subject application relates to a system(s) and/or methodology that facilitate filtering any set of items in a quick and efficient manner including messages and optionally calendar, notes, and task items. More specifically, as a filter string (input) is entered, it can be immediately compared to properties associated with a selected set of items to filter. As a result, the set of items can be dynamically filtered based on the input entered according to a one-to-one match of the filter string with any selected item or message property. Message properties can include sender, subject, and body of a message. Any items that match the input can be presented to the user in the form of a list. As additional input is entered, the list may dynamically change as more input or less input is received. Thus, any items that match the input appear on the list.

Abstract:

A system and a method for sorting two or more contacts that employ a display name format and a display name reading to provide an intuitive contact order based on pronunciation of a display name are disclosed. The display name reading includes characters, letters, symbols, numbers, and/or phonetic symbols that indicate pronunciation of the display name. Since the system and the method can sort the two or more contacts by arranging the display name readings, the system and the method can provide an intuitive contact order based on the pronunciation of the display name. When the display name formats are changed, the system and the method can update the display name reading according to the newly selected display name format and sort the contacts by arranging the updated display name readings.

Abstract:

A canister based transmission filter system, which may be integrated into transmission reservoirs. The system features a filter in the shape of a cylinder or a polygonal prism, and a corresponding transmission filter receiver. The filter has a pleated filtration surface with an integrated magnet, and is inserted into the receiver without need of additional screws, clips, nor bolts. The receiver closes off transmission fluid flow when filter is being changed to prevent contamination of the surroundings, and opens when the filter is installed to allow for filtration. Filter may be quickly changed using only the L-pin provided, and locks itself in place during installation.

Abstract:

An isochoric mechanism for changing transmission fluid composed of a box component, two bags, two valves, a board, plastic tubing, and two adapters. The mechanism ensures that the same amount of new transmission fluid is injected into the transmission system as the amount of old transmission fluid that is drained out of the transmission fluid reservoir. Mechanism is driven by gravity, and usage requires two supports that are of equal height, to support the body of the mechanism using the board component. Valves ensure that the system can be stored and reused. Automatically collects old transmission fluid for recycling, and upon return to the provider, the mechanism may be refilled with new transmission fluid.
