Abstract:
A photographic apparatus for providing an instant film system for transmission electron microscopes includes a film carrier and film unit handling apparatus compatable with existing TEM equipment. Film carrier plates, each standardized to accept an instant film sheet and to subsequently enable automatic separation of the latter, are varied in exterior configuration to conform to each type of TEM unit, and a single processor is provided for handling film processing with carrier plates utilized in any of the TEM units. The carrier plates are standardized to enable automated separation of individual exposed film sheets from the respective carrier plates in the processor, and a transfer base or transfer box is provided to cooperate with the receiver box of a given TEM design and with the processor which includes a reciprocating slide feed mechanism by which each individual film unit is ejected from the box. The processor then separates the film sheet from the carrier plate, assembles it with processing materials and advances it to the nip of a processing roller pair.

Abstract:
An accessory mount for use in a system for mounting accessories, e. g. , filters, supplementary lenses, lens shades, etc. , on a compact camera housing including a flash unit receiving socket. The system includes an accessory holder that is adapted to be connected to the camera flash socket to hold it on the housing. The holder includes a flash socket that is operatively connected to the camera socket when the holder is coupled thereto. The invention relates to special accessory mounts which are provided for attaching accessories to the holder.
A heated wiper blade assembly for windshields is provided, in which a plastic blade holder has an upper longitudinal groove for receiving a flat electric heating element enclosed in a ribbon of dielectric. The plastic blade holder also has at its lower portion, a longitudinal slot for receiving a wiper blade therein. A metal cap is positioned over the heating element and crimped around the plastic holder to form a wiper blade subassembly. Such subassembly is then mounted in an enclosing wiper housing such that the upper portion of the blade holder with heating element and metal cap or radiator, are positioned within the housing cavity and the lower portion of the blade holder and the wiper blade, face away from the housing, so that upon application of electricity to the heating element, heat is directed into the housing and also applied to the holder and indirectly to the wiper blade. The holder thus protects the wiper blade from direct application of heat and yet is of low cross-sectional profile and is of sufficient flexibility to follow curved windshield contours without early fatigue problems. The enclosing housing protects the radiator and heating element from wind chill and the radiator directs heat into said housing to warm same.

Apparatus And System For Cleaning Pressure Applying Members
There are provided a method, system, and apparatus for automatically cleaning a spread roller system for use in a photographic apparatus of the self-developing type. A cleaning apparatus includes a pod of cleaning fluid rupturable as it passes through a nip of a pair of spread rollers. The cleaning apparatus includes at least an opening which distributes the cleaning fluid over the rollers following pod rupture as the apparatus passes through the nip. Such an apparatus can be included in a film assemblage which comprises a film cassette housing a stack of film units of the self-developable type, wherein the cleaning apparatus is at the top of the stack and is opaque so as to also serve as a dark slide.

Colorado embodies nation's divide over gun control
The legislation became law, but in yet another sign of Colorado's divided nature over guns, it also led to the ouster of two lawmakers that year, state Sens. The political support that could be offered by a well-funded group like Everytown might help politicians like John Morse, former president of the Colorado senate who was recalled over his support for more extensive background checks and limiting magazine capacity.
