A wire distribution system comprises a support structure having a first wall terminating in a first flange and a second wall terminating in a second flange. The second flange may be spaced apart from the first flange and provide a web section formed therebetween. The web section has an outer surface and an inner surface, wherein the outer surface defines an abutment to a mating structure, such as a wall, door, or window. The inner surface further defines a part of an inner cavity, and further includes a conduit channel formed therein. The conduit channel has an at least one wall section extending into the inner cavity and further includes an open leg facing the mating structure. An aperture is formed in the support structure first side and is oriented substantially adjacent to the conduit channel. A receptacle extends into the aperture and defines an interior space. The receptacle includes at least one conductor aperture that is aligned with the conduit channel open leg such that the conduit channel open leg communicates with receptacle interior space.

Abstract:
A ventilating component for a building, particularly a ventilating soffit, provides a high ratio of ventilation flow area to component coverage area. A sheet in a plane of coverage has a spaced-channel configuration, or alternatively a terraced configuration. Ventilation openings are placed in the connecting webs between the upper and lower levels, especially in sidewalls of elongated channels that open as slots on the exposed side of the soffit. These connecting webs are oriented at an acute angle relative to the coverage plane. In a channel arrangement the webs can be shaped to block direct view of the side walls. The acute angle precludes, or at least foreshortens, a view of the webs that contain the ventilation openings. The ventilation aspects are concealed while permitting a high ratio of flow area to coverage area.

Abstract:
A method of forming a reinforced composite structure comprises providing a plurality of fiberglass rovings to a resin applicator. The plastic applicator has an inlet, an outlet, and a plastic applicator cavity such that the rovings enter the plastic applicator through the inlet and exit through the outlet. The inlet and outlet are relatively positioned to spread out the rovings. Resin-containing rovings are directed between a first fiberglass matt and a second fiberglass matt and then cured. A joint that connects two frame members formed by the method of the invention is provided.
