Abstract:

A product handling apparatus, components of a product handling apparatus, a method of handling products and a software program for controlling a product handling apparatus. The apparatus includes an induct area, in which products are inducted or fed, either automatically or manually, into the product handling apparatus, an identification area, in which the product configuration, the product type and the product title are identified, a labeling area, in which product labels are printed, applied to each product and verified, and a product sorting area, in which the products are sorted into the individual customer order product collection locations for packaging and shipment to the customer. In the product sorting area, products are diverted by air knife diverter mechanisms, and stackable products are stacked in stacker assemblies. An âendlessâ main conveyor assembly conveys products from the induct area, through the product handling apparatus, to the product sorting area. A main controller electronically communicates with and controls, through the software program, the components of the product handling apparatus.

Abstract:

An electrochemical cell for use in gas detection includes a cell body having an electrolyte cavity and a separate sensor cavity. The sensor cavity holds stacked sensor elements including a counter electrode, electrolyte mat, reference electrode and sensing electrode. A wick draws the electrolyte from the electrolyte cavity to the electrolyte mat. The sensing electrode closes off the sensor cavity and seals the counter and reference electrodes therein. The only gas which contacts the counter and reference electrodes is that which passes through the sensing electrode or is generated by the counter electrode and becomes dissolved in the electrolyte.

Abstract:

Systems and methods accessing remote digital data over a wide area network (WAN) are disclosed. In an embodiment, a network device is disclosed. The network device includes a local area network (LAN) switching fabric physical interface configured to communicate according to a LAN switching fabric protocol, a WAN physical interface configured to communicate according to a WAN protocol, and a fabric extension function configured to map LAN switching fabric interfaces to pseudo-ports, map pseudo-ports to WAN interfaces, and transmit LAN fabric datagrams received at the LAN switching fabric physical interface from the WAN physical interface via a mapped pseudo-port and a corresponding WAN interface.
