About:
Johnathan Agrelius is a different breed of real estate professional who brings tailored experience to each client by listening to their needs, discovering and adopting their goals, and crafting a winning situation that exceeds their expectations. He seeks nothing less than perfection when it comes to matching a personality to a place, and facilitating seamless deals that benefit all parties. Johnathan’s introduction to real estate began with his fascination with the history of downtown Augusta, Georgia where he previously lived and studied. He hence launched a development company to transform a vacant 1860’s warehouse in the heart of downtown into a new mixed-use building. That defined what he would do in life from that moment on. Today Johnathan handles rentals and sales in Manhattan, with a special passion for commercial and development opportunities. His future goals include redeveloping inner cities, working with real estate investors to transform urban areas into new economic centers. Prior to entering real estate, Johnathan honed his customer service skills in the fast-paced restaurant business, developing the Chick-fil-A brand and expanding it from coast to coast. He also invested his time and energy teaching English in China, and leading teams of college students conducting summer English camps. Johnathan has also worked with the Actors Fund Housing Development Corporation researching and reviewing potential affordable housing development opportunities for those who work in entertainment. A New York resident since 2008, Johnathan came to the city to study architecture, and earned a Masters in Real Estate Development from Columbia University. He lives on the Upper East Side where he loves having the ability to walk to Central Park, the museums, and to Carl Schurz Park to watch the sunrise over the East River. Johnathan is also an amateur photographer and architect buff who enjoys wandering around the city admiring buildings, learning their history, capturing them on camera, and giving ad hoc tours to anyone who will listen.
