Abstract:

A modular magnetic strip holder is assembled from a plurality of individual magnetic holder units into an elongated strip holder configuration for securely holding various types of tools, utensils and other items. Various configurations of connectors may be utilized to assemble together in end-to-end relationship any number of individual magnetic holder units so as to form an elongated strip holder of a desired length, while also enabling the magnetic strip holder to be disassembled if desired.

Abstract:

A modular tool holder includes upright bodies composed of a generally U-shaped riser extending upwardly from base sections Horizontally extending tongues project from one side of each base and complementary horizontally extending grooves are formed in the opposite side of each base. One or more spacers and is/are positioned between the base sections of the bodies The spacers can be of various configurations to receive and hold various tools such as screw drivers, wrenches and plyers. The bodies and spacers can be assembled in innumerable configurations to accommodate different tools sets in drawers and toolboxes, on work benches and in other locations.

At least one magnet is attached to the underside of a metallic base plate that is in turn secured to the underside of the body. A retainer surrounds the at least one magnet and also underlies the area of the bottom of the base plate that is not covered by the at least one magnet.
