Abstract:

An infant seat (which is also called an infant carrier) includes a shell, a handle, and a spring. The handle has an arm hub coaxially aligned with, and rotatably attached to, a side hub of the shell. In one design, the side hub has notches, and the arm hub a projection. A spring has a longitudinal axis aligned substantially parallel to the hub axis and is positioned to radially bias the projection into engagement with a rotationally-aligned notch. The handle is movable in a direction substantially perpendicular to the hub axis to disengage the projection from the radially-aligned notch permitting the handle to be rotated to other notches corresponding to other handle positions. In another design, the arm hub has the notches, and the side hub has the projection.

Abstract:

An infant carrier base including a frame having a head edge and a foot edge and side edges with an upper surface and a lower surface. The base has a cylindrical aperture formed vertically through the carrier and female threads extending radially inwardly with respect to the aperture. A cylindrical adjustment rod is provided with male threads extending radially outwardly along the length thereof. A dial is secured with respect to the upper end of the cylindrical adjustment rod and a levelling foot is secured with respect to the lower end of the adjustment rod.

Abstract:

A child car seat is configured for attachment to vehicle anchor points in at least two configurations including a frontward facing configuration and a rearward facing configuration. The child car seat includes an exterior portion and an interior portion, the interior portion defining a receiving area for a child. A front area of the interior portion is generally open and a rear area of the interior portion is generally closed by a back section. A first structure is positioned on the interior portion for securing a first strap thereto such that the first strap is positioned interiorly of the seat and is capable of extending both toward the front area and the rear area, and a second structure is positioned on the interior portion for securing a second strap thereto such that the second strap is positioned interiorly of the seat and is capable of facing both toward the front area and the rear area.

Abstract:

Disclosed herein are system, method, and computer program product embodiments for crowdsourcing e-mail filtering. An embodiment operates by receiving an input from a community member indicating that an e-mail received by the community member is unwanted, counting a number of inputs received from community members indicating that e-mail is unwanted based on one or more criteria, flagging future e-mails based on the criteria when the number of inputs counted reaches a threshold for penalizing an originator or a group associated with the originator of the unwanted e-mail, and denying delivery of future e-mails from the originator or the group associated with the originator until a penalty period expires.
