Abstract:

A method for providing a participant with an incentive which includes providing a web browser including a clue, an interactive content, and a pre-defined selectable area within the interactive content. The clue comprises information for directing the participant to select the pre-defined selectable area. The pre-defined selectable area has a location which is initially unknown to the participant. The method further includes deducing the location of the pre-defined selectable area by the participant using the clue; selecting the pre-defined selectable area by the participant; and providing an incentive to the participant for selecting the pre-defined selectable area.

Abstract:

Provided herein is a method of delivering an advertisement to at least one mobile device which includes a software application that is operable on mobile devices. Also provided is a software interface that works in conjunction with the mobile software application. The software interface operates on a network server accessible to a computer network, such as the Internet. The method includes the step of defining a geographic location for delivery of the advertisements. The software interface then transmits the advertisement to at least one mobile device operating the mobile software application which is located within the geographic location. An incentive is then provided to the user of the mobile which has received the advertisement. The incentive may optionally comprise a monetary payment to the user of the mobile device.

Abstract:

A computing device comprising a display screen, the computing device being able to display on the screen a card-based system for organizing and presenting content including a plurality of cards in which each card has a front face and a rear face. The cards include user-provided content on at least the front face of each card, and the cards are configured to be flipped to selectively display the front face or the rear face. There is also provided at least one card deck, and each card deck comprises at least one of the cards. A computer-selected tag is associated with the content on the cards, and the computer-selected tag is chosen by a software program having artificial intelligence. In addition, the rear face of the cards can include user-provided content which is relevant to the user-provided content on the front face.

Abstract:

A method of certifying members in an organization using a card-based system. The method includes the steps of providing a plurality of cards to a member. Each of the cards includes content provided by the organization. There is also at least one card deck comprising the cards which are associated with a specific topic, such as a job skill. The cards can have content associated with the specific topic, and at least one of the cards includes a question about the specific topic. The card deck is dispensed to a member in the organization, and the member attempts to learn the content on the cards in the card deck. Cards bearing questions are presented to the member, and the member attempts to answer the questions. The member can then be certified as being proficient in the specific topic if the member answers the questions correctly.
